If you are looking for a quiet place, to spend your holiday away from the noise and the crowd, we can offer you to rent a holiday house in charming place called Donja Krušica. We attract guests that wish to bring their families on the island to get a taste of true island living: a simple, healthy and traditional life.
House was build in 2013-2014 and it has 2 floors (2 separated apartments). In each apartment you have 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, kitchen, living, balcony and beautiful garden with barbecue. We have 2 bedrooms with double bed and 1 single bed room, also we have baby crib and pull-out sofa in the living room. Balcony has magnificent view on the city Čiovo, Kaštela and Split.
How to find us?
Ferry-boat drives several times a day from Split to island Šolta. The drive lasts 45 minutes. Island port is in Rogač. From Rogač you can drive by car to Grohote, where you turn right to Donje Selo. There is a road from Doje Selo to bay Donja Krušica. Whole way by car, from Rogač to Donja Krušica, last around 15 minutes. If You like, we'll welcome You in Rogač, so you'll not get lost. Island Šolta has a public bus transport as the taxi service but if you want to rent a car you should do it in Split and transport it by ferry to the island. With public bus you cant reach the house. Nearest place where bus stops is Donje Selo.
Beach:
Donja Krušica has several pears located 200m from the house and it is perfect places for suntaning. Water is clean and transparent, also there is one natural beach (10 minutes walking from the house) where you can enjoy in peace, magnificent view and beautiful clean sea. Šolta is full of small, public beaches where you can enjoy in nature, crystal sea and intimacy. In Maslinica you have diving center where you can rent diving equipment or and learn how to dive.
Shops, restaurants:
Donja Krušica does not have any super market, cafe bar, restaurant etc. For supplies we recommend you to go at Grohote, which is far 10 minutes by car. There are two big shops, bakery, fish market, butcher's shop, open market, post office, pharmacy and newspaper shop. There are ATM-s in Grohote, Rogač and Stomorska, and exchange office in Grohote, Rogač and Maslinica. In Grohote, there is modern ambulance, in case you need medical help. If you want to have fun, we recommend you to visit Nečujam, where are swimming pool, tenis and voleyball playgrounds, discoteque, pizzeria, cafes and confectionery shop.
About Šolta :
Šolta is an island in Croatia. It is situated in the Adriatic Sea in the central Dalmatian archipelago, west of the island of Brač, south of Split (separated by Split Channel) and east of the Drvenik islands (separated by the Šolta Channel. Its area is 58.98 km2and it has a population of 1,700 (as of 2011). The highest peak of Šolta is the summit Vela Straža which is 238 metres high. On the north-eastern coast of the island there are the large bays of Rogač and Nečujam. In the western part of the interior of Šolta there is a field approximately 6 km (4 mi) long and 2 km (1 mi) wide. The economy of the island is based on vineyards, olives, fruit, fishing and tourism. While the main settlements (Grohote, Gornje Selo, Srednje Selo, Donje Selo) are inland, the main fishing centres are Maslinica, which is exposed to only north-westerly winds, making it a good shelter for smaller boats. Rogač is the main port and Nečujam the centre of the island’s tourism.
